This is an initiative of the EU-funded Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action 750885 GENERALIZED and the Research Grant PID2019-109339GA-C32 from the Spanish MICINN.
Why?
Since March 2020, mathematical interaction has changed completely. The last one year and a half has at the same time halted face-to-face conferences and brought to us many more online activities than we can possibly attend.
With this in mind but wanting to make the most of this new online environment, we would like to propose very focused online one-day workshops, which go under the acronym ONEW.
What?
A ONEW is a workshop bringing together experts who have looked at a topic from different viewpoints. There will be only four-six short presentations followed by an open discussion where we will aim to establish connections between the various perspectives.
We are not expecting a large audience to attend a ONEW, but we want to get beyond the informative nature of many talks and build new understanding in a time-efficient way.
